My name is Jerrod Jenkins and I am very glad to be able to share with you about my life and the ministry that God has given me a vision for. On September 19, 2003, my life was done and I was at my wits end. I was broke, busted, disgusted and couldn't be trusted and was a the end of a battle with Crystal Meth, alcohol and sex. I was in jail and had nowhere to turn. My family had had enough of my lies, my friends were done with my games, but there was one person that was ready for me with His arms wide open... His name is Jesus Christ. After surrendering my life to him, in June 2008, he gave me this vision for God Is Faithful Ministries. I was reading 1st Corinthians 10 and came across verse 13 that says that God is faithful and He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong from becoming so strong that you can't stand up under it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it. John 14:6 says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life..." So, taking this way out is a pivotal part in life for all people. We will take the way of escape or continue on the path that seems most comfortable. This is a decision each person must make on his own. My goal as a pastor and our goal at God Is Faithful Ministries is to share the way (the way is Jesus Christ!) to take the escape that Christ offered to me and that He offers to everyone. Romans 10:13 says, "For everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved." |
